this is your day... do it your way

your wedding gallery should say more about you than your photographer

The first thing you’ll notice when you look through my galleries is that there is no set “formula” of images that I rotate through for every wedding. I prefer to create the necessary structure - a timeline and plan for the day’s flow of events - so that i can focus on my creativity in the moment. Sometimes you need to be organized to be spontaneous. I know that for most people, a big event like a wedding or engagement is the first time being photographed. I promise I won’t let you sit nervously in front of the camera. I am there to make you feel at ease, offering feedback to help the authentic you come through.

Question:

I limit the number of wedding client I take on a year to 15. This allows me to maintain creative integrity and give my clients the best experience possible.

how many wedding bookings do you take a year?

Question:

Answer:

Absolutely! It’s paramount to have a good, long conversation with your photographer about timeline, and to be clear about the parts of your day that are most important. If you have a planner, I will consult with them directly.

Question:

I include a very small number of B+W images, and usually only if there are similar repeats of an image. I find that even when I do provide B+W images, most clients ask for it to be changed back to color. If there is a specific image you want converted to B+W for a print or album, I am happy to do that.

do you include black and white images in your galleries?

Question:

I use Canon gear and shoot with prime lenses. My favorite lenses are the L Series 35mm, 50mm and 85mm. I also keep a 70-200 L Series in my bag for scenarios that I can’t get close (like a church wedding) and a macro lense for rings. I also have several remotely triggered speed light flashes to position at your the reception to ensure great lighting throughout the entire day and night.

what camera gear do you use?

positivity + GREAT VIBES

we will choose her over and over and over again

Kate was the absolute best photographer we could have been lucky enough to find. Her visions and photos have given us the best memories that we have continued to enjoy. She captured the best moments of the night and made us look even better than we felt (which was the best ever). Her positivity, great vibes, and agreeableness with our large family and wedding party were unbeatable as she helped deal with all the crazy amount of everything. She created a beautiful album and photos which we are so so lucky to have. She was the best vendor/photographer/friend we could have ever asked for! We will choose her over and over and over again.
