   I recently bought a book for myself … “The Luminous Portrait” by Elizabeth Messina – if you aren’t familiar with her work and have an interest in photography, you really should look her up…she is a very generous and gifted photographer and a huge inspiration to me. This next series of images is inspired by her work with natural light. Yesterday morning I woke up – literally – to my sweet girl throwing open the shutters…thankfully I had my camera by my bed and quickly shot these few images before she abruptly ended the shoot with “enough pictures mumma, I want breakfast”.
