Last week my mum and I took Samara to see Petite Rouge at the Horizon Theater here in Atlanta. First up, this is an amazing show, a must see for everyone of all ages, it is a New Orleans take on the original story of Red Riding Hood, with outstanding music, choreography and performances, really brilliant! We all loved it.. Samara especially was completely inspired and at the end of the show I couldn’t resist getting this gorgeous red cape for her.. and of course I was already planning the shoot before we got home that night. Now, our daughter really doesn’t love me taking her picture, and like any child who is constantly coerced to pose in front of the camera, I can’t say I really blame her… so yesterday when out of the blue she told me she was ready for her “photoshoot” I jumped on the opportunity and in a quick minute (and when I say quick I mean she gave me 15 minutes before she called it quits on this shoot) we were able to capture these few images.
Simple things make me happy – that’s something I am really grateful for about myself! Today I am “simply happy” because my pictures of Jessica and Jasons wedding have been featured on Style Me Pretty’s main page… ♥ The thing is, I discovered Style Me Pretty and all the beautiful photography they showcase there a little over 2 years ago when I was making my move from Australia to Atlanta… and I remember being in awe of the photographers that were featured on there so, today lil old me being featured on their main page makes me really darn proud of myself – and happy! Of course I have to say a huge thank you to Jessica and Jason for creating such a beautiful occasion for me to document… the post is up now on Style Me Pretty
